Early departure and drive to the alpine valley of Planica, famous for its flying heroes ( ski jumpers). In the valley of flying hills we will visit museum in Alpine nordic center, dedicated to the history of ski jumping and flying in Planica. After visit drive to picturesque Radovna valley for lunch in a traditional Slovene inn.

In the afternoon visit of cosmopolitan Lake Bled with its unique romantic island. Together with its surroundings it ranks among the most beautiful alpine resorts. Renowned for its mild, healing climate and thermal lake water. We will take a boat to reach the island where most recognizable symbol of the lake stands. That is the Church of the Assumption with the wishing bell.

After some free time drive to the beautiful medieval town Radovljica. The most comprehensive presentation of beekeeping tradition takes place in the Museum of Apiculture. We will learn the world of the Carniolan honey bee and the history of beekeeping. That is also represented at the variety of ancient beehive panels. At the end of the day we will have dinner in an old traditional Slovene inn in Radovljica.
