Departure in early morning hours. Drive to the Karst region with hundreds and hundreds of underground caves, sin-holes, beautiful stone villages and much more. We shall visit the queen of this underground system- Postojna Cave. 5,2, kilometres is open for the tourists and more than a half of the visit is travelled by electric train. Beside stalactites and other sculptures you will also see the famous “human fish” ( Proteus anguinus). Note that the temperature in the cave is constant between 8°C – 10°C so warm clothes are recommended.

Karst is also famous for its wine teran, ruby red strong and healthy wine and air-smoked ham prosciutto. You will try several products before visiting the cradle of the Lipizzaners. Friendly guide will introduce one of the oldest stud farms in the world with a tradition dating back to 1580.
